Haha this is great, really humorous and yet thought-provoking theme.

The first thing I noticed about this was the style, the wonderful sort of 50's bar class that it has. This could seriously be hanging on the wall of some classy bar or cafe! It's the minimalism that gives it the feel, and also the stereotypical characters and comic-like drawing.
The background is really nice, maybe the most simple one I've ever seen (short of an empty paper

) but that is precisely what translates as style here. Also, it brings this urban hardcore-city theme in subtly, which fits extremely well because the very theme and visual symbolism here is rather modern or pop-culture by nature.
The characters are, dare I say, adorable.

You've taken the most recognizable, most stereotypical cliché image of this crook/made-man/thug/burglar and included the motive most often associated to them: the firearm, a pistol to be exact. And as I see it, here you take a stand in a way against the pointless violence of urban metropolises, against the circular nature of the struggles the different parties of street- and city-wars partake in; the guns being 'one', and still seeming to be two seperate guns twisted out of shape is a powerful image, and wittily executed through this pseudo-realistic cartoon-style. The detail is wonderful here as well, and that gives the picture credibility; and still the cartoon nature translates as a sort of farsical representation of violence in general.

A wonderful artwork, I would love to have this on my wall!!
